Moving in/ Labor Day weekend

We finally got moved in to our apartment in Orem. It was not really love at first sight. It was a surprise of black feet, splinters, church carpet, and feeling like we were living in the oldest apartment ever. We were however very excited that it was 1250 sq feet, with 2 bedrooms, and a very large living room. We absolutely love the extra space. After a week of power cleaning, unpacking, and furniture buying, we now are happy to call this place home. We had our first party on Wed August 29th to celebrate Michael's birthday. I was so happy that we had almost 20 friends and family come during the afternoon/ night to celebrate with us. He felt so loved.
Mike started school, and is in the finance program and doing an internship this semester. I am now a licensed hygienist in Utah, and will start job hunting tomorrow. We got to go to BYU's first football game. They won their first game 30-6. Mike and I also went to Tucano's to celebrate Mike's birthday. We had an amazing feast, eating for over an hour. After, we went and played arcade games at a shop at the Riverwoods shopping center.
We got to spend Labor Day weekend in Lava, Idaho with Mike's parents, Dallin, Sam, and Shayla. We spent 3 days shooting, playing sports, going to the water park, rafting down the river, relaxing in the hot springs, playing card games, and golfing. It was a wonderful weekend spent with wonderful people.
