Wedding day! San Diego Temple Sealing

(Continuation from previous post)
So I finally arrived at the temple, where I was greeted by Mike and his parents. We had just under an hour to get ready, and wait for the guests to arrive. Mike and I got to sit a beautiful room in the temple alone, and just talk for about 15 minutes about all the exciting things happening to us, and about the covenants and promises we were about to make with each other. Finally it was 10:00 and time for the ceremony. In LDS churches, when the marriage takes place in a temple, we refer to it as a sealing- Mike and I being joined together for time and all eternity. We believe that our marriage will continue in the next life, and not just "til death do us part".
It was so wonderful to be surrounded by family and close friends. The sealing was absolutely wonderful, and after the sealing was over, Mike and I were on cloud nine for the whole rest of the day. After the temple sealing, we got to take all the official wedding pictures.
