Wyoming

Finally, after 547 days of being with Mike, he takes me to RAWLINS, Wyoming! Ever since we met, I have been wanting to know more about the land where he spent the first 18 years of his life, since it is an obscure town that doesn't have many pictures when researched on Google. Mike seemed to do a pretty good job trying to avoid any trips to Rawlins, until his dad's car dealership had their annual Christmas party. So off to Wyoming we went! The first day and night, we stayed at his sister's house in Evanston. Her and her husband Malcolm have a beautiful home, which had plenty of room for Dallin, Mama Lemich, Mike and I. Denae is half way thru her pregnancy with their first little boy, and it was so fun hanging out with them. The next day, we headed over to Rawlins, and stayed at their Wyoming house. Mike and Dallin took me on a tour of the town. I got to see his eagle project he did in the prison cemetery. Rawlins is completely covered in Deer! Deer everywhere. I had fun feeding them apples and grapes. Saturday night, we went to The Wolf Hotel in Saratoga, for the Christmas party and had a delicious prime rib dinner with shrimp, sides, and chocolate mousse. It was a pretty great weekend.
