Double Dates & Vegas Weddings

After we got back from Wyoming, the holiday festivities started to pile on. My work hosted a company Christmas party at the Sleepy Hollow golf course. It was a wonderful evening with delicious food. All the employees got these really nice OGIO jackets too.  We also had a Christmas lunch party at Pizza Pie Cafe with just my work department. The next night, we went on a double date with Sam and Shayla. We went on a Christmas light cruise down the Provo river. The lights were all really pretty as they reflected everywhere. There was this one area of the river that had no lights, and was very dark. As we traveled closer to that area, this Santa came paddling out of the darkness on a small canoe yelling "Ho Ho Ho". It was pretty entertaining.

A few days later. during a snow storm, we made the 3 hour drive down to Cedar City. The next day, we drove with all the Lemich family to Las Vegas, for Mike's cousin's wedding. Jacob and Brooke got married in the Las Vegas temple, which we got to be apart of. That night, they had a big reception at his parent's, with smore's, dancing, delicious food and a photo booth! It was so much fun to see and chat with all the extended family again. That night, the Lemich family stayed at the Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino. The boys loved the fact we were staying at a casino. Luckily they are both either pretty lucky or good gamblers, because no one lost any money! Sunday Morning, we ate at their Sunday brunch buffet, which had all the food and desserts one could ask for. Yes, we had desserts for breakfast! After, as we were walking out, we took pictures of us with our "pregnant food bellies. Later that afternoon, we drove back to Cedar City, where we hung out until Tuesday the 18th, when it was time to drive back to Las Vegas, so we could fly to Texas.
