Shanna, one of my best friends, came to visit me last week. She came to Utah take her anesthesia test so she can be licensed to perform anesthesia in Colorado. We got to have a little fun while she was here. (She also went down to Cedar City to visit my cousin Jake and his family.) While in Provo, we decided to go hiking with some of her friends from Texas, Dallin, Mike & Justen. We were out hiking Stewart Falls when we encountered a moose. It seemed to be about a 3 year old bull moose. Since none of us had a seen a moose so close, we found it pretty exciting until he started walking toward us. Justen decided to throw a rock at him- trying to scare him away off the path- he said... and the moose ended up charging straight at us. I ran off the side of the mountain into a large bush, and was grateful he didn't follow me. He ended up running past all of us and down the path out of sight. I am glad no one got hurt.
He threw a rock at a moose?! Dumb dumb dumb. Wow. I remember Shanna from your wedding. She was really nice.
