Coeur d'Alene 2

Lemich family vacation in Coeur d'Alene Idaho- part 2.
One night we did a dress up dinner, and went to Bonsai Bistro- an Asian family style restaurant.

At night, Dockside had the best gourmet desserts
The Hotel had a boat shuttle service that took you over to their private beach, infinity pool and golf course. The girls decided to swim and tan while the boys and Emil golfed on the beautiful course. This golf course is also the only course in the world to have a floating green.

I did not take the picture of the course. I think it came from the Resorts website.

The boys loved their caddy, who would run around with binoculars to follow and mark their balls. He also gave them the their distance from the hole and the secrets to each hole.
Tanning with Alyssa and LaRae while pool service brought us drinks and lunch
Infinity pool. Such fun to swim right next to the lake

Mike said it was quite challenging to get their ball to land on the floating green, especially with "the wind". Dallin came closest I believe. The boys ended up taking a drop once they got onto the floating green. (There was a cool water taxi service that shuttled them over.)

 Goofy kids
I now know why boys love boats- they can go as fast as they want with no speed limits, no traffic, and no rules! It was like a light bulb moment on the boat while I watched each of the guys drive.

A little map view of Lake Coeur d'Alene
The best in-laws anyone could ask for!

Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the family vacation. I think we all gained about 10 pounds, but we definitely made some lasting memories.
