Oh January
When you live in Utah, I'm not sure how exciting January can be. Snow and cold bitter weather are the story of every day. We have already gotten well over a foot of snow this year. I love snow when every day is a snow day and I can drink hot chocolate, watch movies, and not leave the house. but unfortunately I have to leave the house daily, which is no fun.Pretty much the point of this post is to say we are still alive, we just haven't had any crazy adventures lately. Mike started school and has been interviewing for summer internships. So far he has had two interviews, one of which was with J.P. Morgan. We are ever hopeful that he can get offered an internship for J.P. Morgan. We also spend free time attending career/internship fairs, proof reading Mike's resumes and cover letters, and studying for my anesthesia class. Exciting life. Bailee started working out with me a couple times a week when the new year started, so it makes working out more exciting when Ive got someone to go to spin class or do treadmill sprints with. Mike and I have also been watching many episodes of "House". He got seasons 1-3 for Christmas, and we are about to start season 2.
February should be a much more exciting month. I'll be going to Idaho to take an anesthesia class, my lovely parents will be coming to visit and go skiing, and Mike and I will be going to Salt Lake to eat at the Cheesecake factory. Not to mention Valentines Day! The year should start to get much more exciting from here on out.
