It's the most wonderful time of the year!

This past weekend, a marvelously beautiful thing happened. It snowed! ALOT!  I love snow, and snow days, and think it is all absolutely beautiful. It started snowing Friday morning at work, and snowed all day and into the night.  Being pretty inexperienced when it comes to snow, the following happened. I went out to my car after work, to find it covered in snow. I don't yet own an ice scraper, but the snow was fresh so I knew my window wipers could take it off. I hopped in the car and had my door open (because I would next run and wipe off the back window), and I turned on the windshield wipers. Before you know it, all of the snow from the windshield, was now in the car, on my lap, on the floor, in my chair, everywhere! That was a fun learning experience.

I hurried home start my snow day weekend. Mike and I went out to eat, and then came back and I scrap-booked while he watched a basketball game. Then we watched a few episodes of Prison Break, and drank hot chocolate.

Saturday, we had no plans until the football game that night. It was so nice to be able to do whatever we wanted, and look out the window and see snow. I started off the day by making french toast! I forgot how much I love french toast, and I will probably start making it more often. I also put chicken chili in the crock pot, and then we went out and played in the snow. After playing in the snow we played games and watched tv, trying to stay warm, until we went to the gym. Later that night, we went to the last BYU home football game. It was against Idaho. The game was FREEZING. We stayed until half time. BYU was winning 42-7, so we decided to go to Chili's to eat appetizers and dessert with Sam, Shayla, Sarah, and Dallin. Sunday, was another fun day inside the house, where I baked muffins, worked on my wedding scrapbook, and we just got to relax. We walked to church to enjoy the sunshine and snow, and then went on another walk later in the day.
