Oktoberfest 10k UPDATE

So on Monday, the race results were finally posted online, and much to my surprise I found out I got 2nd place for my age group! Second place in my first 10K ever! I also found out I got 37th overall. This made me feel pretty good about myself. I was able to go into Fleet Feet to pick up my medal. (Mike and I left before the awards ceremony. The awards ceremony never really crossed our minds and didn't seem like something that would be worth sticking around for.)
So here is my sweet new medal. Better late than never right?

    Great job Sarah! That's awesome! I want to run/walk a race one of these days....hopefully one of the days that I'm not too lazy haha

      Utah has races GALORE! It seems they have atleast 1 or 2 every weekend! They go by fast when there are so many people and festivities! You could do a 5k for sure! Especially if you got friends or family to do one with you, you can all do it together and it makes it more fun. But I think it is alot easier to run in a race than on a treadmill!
