Pioneer Day

July 24th is a state celebrated holiday, in Utah, called Pioneer Day. Wednesday was my first Pioneer Day ever. Pretty much I was just excited that Mr. Mike and I got the day off school and work. The cousins met at Brooke and Jacob's house for brunch, and then we went to Battle Creek Falls in Pleasant Grove. It was a nice short hike with a big reward of a beautiful cold waterfall. We goofed off in the refreshing water. After the hike we parted ways til we met up a few hours later at Nathanael's house. We went out to dinner at El Gallo Giro in Provo where I feasted on some delicious enchiladas. Afterwards we went to Spanish Fork for their "Fiesta Days". We enjoyed their carnival, and then met up with more cousins for the Spanish Fork firework show. We ended up with awesome seats. This was the closest I had been to a firework show. Some of the fireworks were directly over our heads. It was an adventurous day off.
