So we found out that our little rescue puppy is an Anatolian Shepherd mix. Right now she is about 3 months old, but the vet thinks she will end up being about 80-90 pounds. I'm not sure if I've already said, but her name is Akina. Her new favorite past time is chewing up all of the patio furniture, so she is no longer allowed on the main deck. David and Sarah came over Tuesday for a BBQ and of course brought their pups. Two days in a row, my mom and I took Akina to the lake to teach her how to swim and fetch in the water. She has webbed paws, so we think she will be quite the swimmer. I had fun spending time cooking with my mom as well as shopping and nail day with her and Liz. My dad also took my mom and I shoe shopping at Dillard's, which is our favorite shoe store!
I was sad to go back to Utah, because I just love Texas, but Mike picked me up at the airport and I was happy to be back with him again. On Friday, we went and saw Iron Man 3, which we both loved, and then we went shoe shopping for Mike. If you haven't noticed yet, both our families are shoe obsessed.
